Who is responsible?

SV Berliner Brauereien e.V., badminton department. Contact: sportwart@svbb-badminton.net.

What is stored?

What for?

Only to organise tournament entries and helper lists. The sports director enters you for tournaments based on your details (e.g. via turnier.de), where name, club and results are published. SVBB partners can see whether you have named them as well; helpers see first names and the initial of the last name in the helper list. The extended board can view the entries (name, events, partners, entry status), the helper plan and the food list – without contact details and without changing anything. The treasurer sees who was entered where and when, in order to trace surcharges charged by the association.

Entries from players of other clubs

For our own tournaments, players from other clubs can enter via a public form. We store name, email address, club, year of birth (for children: date of birth, the name of a parent or guardian, address and – if given – phone number), player IDs if given, events, age group, partner and notes – only to organise the tournament. If you give your partner's email address, we send them a single short note about the entry; it is not used for anything else. After the tournament, the details are deleted unless needed for accounting. For club tournaments such as the Speckup and Summer Cup, members without a player licence or account can also enter via a link – we store name, email address, phone number (if given), events, partner, what they bring for the buffet and notes.

Requests from other clubs

If a player from another club would like to play doubles or mixed with you, the sports director enters the request: name, club and – if given – player ID and email address of the other player. You get an email and decide yourself; with the email address we inform the other player once about your answer.

Membership applications

With the online membership application we store what is also on the paper form: name, gender, date and place of birth, nationality, address, email, phone numbers, previous badminton club, joining date, membership type and payment interval, for under-18s the names of the parents, as well as the SEPA direct debit mandate (account holder, address if different, IBAN, BIC). As proof instead of a signature we note when the application was submitted and confirmed via the email link (with browser and shortened IP address). The data is only used for membership administration and fee collection; it is seen by membership administration, the sports director, the treasurer and the admins. On admission, the membership application is sent as a PDF to the new member and as a copy to the club’s membership address (proof of the SEPA direct debit mandate). Applications not confirmed by email are deleted after 14 days; processed applications are deleted once the data has been transferred to the club’s membership records.

Where is the data kept?

On the sports director's web space (hptm.de) – not with third parties. The site only sets technically necessary cookies (login session and language), no advertising, no analytics.

Your rights

You can request information, correction or deletion at any time – a short email to sportwart@svbb-badminton.net is enough.
